one word to describe friday, tired.

went to yumin primary early in the morning to do some coaching. handling 20 overs kids at one go is not something that i would consider doing again. they fight, they got lower understanding level (cause they're still young), and most importantly they got distracted easily and a lot of time is wasted on scolding. bah! and still got to work morning shift on sat. :(

was a simple day. like i said, stayed over at wilson place, fetched my parents to the airport, get back to his place to sleep. after that was a tour to serveral showroom as wilson got some problem of which car to buy. and after that, supper at rowell road with matthew, owen, terrence, japerd(idk how to spell), wilson, jh. :)

went to stay over at wilson place with jamie and jh, and thats why i only can update in the morning. basically yesterdays plan was to visit wilson and get matilda a present. :) and wilson got into a bike accident, with very bad injury on the elbow and waist, no more woosh bike. :( plus! no more bike for me, absulutely. and we are finishing matilda's bday present.

ps: i always watch horror show in the middle of the night with all lights off and there was once my brother came into my room. got a huge shock and almost pee on my pants. :(

now every night i am sleeping with fear

the incident that happen recently, made me doubt my house even more. waking up in the middle of the night is my profession, to add on, walking around to do whatever without the lights on.

its 5.50am. woke up with a pain in the stomach. rushed to the toilet, and when was about to close the door, heard a voice saying "where are you going?". opened the door with my groggy state of mind, finding whoever ask me that to reply, but end up everyones door was close!!! immediately, i woke up! i thought was my dad, but hell NO. multiple thoughts running in my mind, idk what will happen when i am done. shit. of cause nothing went wrong. went back to bed after using the toilet. and couldnt sleep as each time the feeling of someone is about to give a tap on my shoulder makes me turn around. also my subconcious mind keep on telling me that theres a insect on my hand, please sweep it away, when theres nothing at all. (sigh to post camp symptoms) it took me so long to fall asleep because of all these, disturbing moments....

intrusion exercise

MCYS / Macrictche / LTA

the very first time intruding 3 places at 1 go. and also my first time doing this exercise. MCYS was my target. a 6 man team, tactically moving through the forest, fired from ambush with mp5(laser mount), maximising fire power while others sneak in, executing a successful invasion to MCYS with 1 man down. now i feel like playing laser quest. :) weekend burned just like that. partly because the attack is to be done at 1am.

was wondering why one would create virus to attack someones computer, and end up having trouble to clean up their computer, sometimes to the extend of reformating the computer. now let me educate you with my little knowledge on these that you might want/need to know.

currently, online threats are more prevalent at social networks. the user's friend might click on links, thinking that they are harmless, downloading worms to hijack their computer which launch other kinds of infection. there are too many kind of virus to list, but i happen to pick this to talk about which spams and steals keystrokes. though there are a various type of them, the goal are the same, to dupe people into divulging personal information or install worm to hijack your computer. so not all computers are safe to do credit card transactions, to check your mails, or anything that requires stuff like password and personal informations.( all the while i thought keylogger was a program, didnt know it is considered as virus )

for that, i went to google social network scams. and found out some pretty convincing scams that you wont want to fall into.

SHORTEN TRICKY URLS
it replaces lengthy web addresses with shorter ones for you yo post on twitter or facebook. as users cannot view the real deal, they cannot spot the scam. like switching wikipedia.org to wikpedia.org. once cyber criminals are being lured to their webpages, which can be infested with malware or con users into downloading data-stealing software.

really amazed by how the so called 'bad' people in the society earn money and not be caught. i must say they are clever, not smart not intelligent. they are good at working, completing whatever they have to do within the shortest time given, plus its not easy to catch them !!! it kept me wondering for the whole day why they end up working in that line, even till now, or even when i am sleeping. and i pity the scapegoats. some people just have to learn it the VERY hard way.

sometimes in life, we happen to know what we suppose not to, that doesnt benefit us, and not sure who to share it with, which ended up puttting yourself in uneasy moments. that is when i ask myself if i could help in anyway, with no one being hurt.....

helpless moment.

ever have this feeling where you wake up in the middle of the night and you cant move? yes this happen to me last night!!! (2nd time in my life) i woke up in the middle of the night, saw my room door half-open cause i didnt close it before i sleep, wanted to close it, and the next thing i know, i couldnt move. all i could do was to move my eyes. and during that period, i got eerie imagination that what if someone walks into my room or i see shadow moving. it was scary. the next thing i tried was to close my eye and try to jump out of bed all of a sudden, but failed. i panicked and the only thing i could do was to close my eye, go back to sleep. and i felt so HELPLESS at the moment.

i tried googling for the medical term for this and see what i have found.

Sleep paralysis happens when you wake up from sleeping and are fully conscious but you cannot move your body. As you know, during sleep, while you are dreaming, your body is paralyzed so that you don’t inadvertently act out your dreams. Apparently during a sleep paralysis episode, that “sleep chemical” doesn’t wear off right away, leaving you in a state where you are aware but cannot move.

During this period you may experience frightening hallucinations. Auditory or visual disturbances are common. Sometimes you may feel a presence or someone sitting on your bed. Because you can’t move it can be very frightening. Sleep paralysis will wear off in a few minutes, but when you believe you’re under attack by a demon or alien even a few minutes is a long time.

However, sleep paralysis is the perfect time to try astral projection. While your body is anchored and unmoving it’s relatively easy to separate your astral body from the physical body. In fact, it’s an ideal situation. During astral projection you want your spirit or soul to get up out of bed while your physical body stays put. This isn’t easy. i am not anorexic or bulimic, and i got no secret to being slim. i just got this eating disorder that eat only when i am hungry and i eat a lot at times, if you know me well enough. so sometimes i may end up eating 1 meal a day partly because i sleep too much ha.

saturday was night shift. woke up in the afternoon receiving msg from jerald saying he's free today and wilson asking if i am free for dinner, but i am working!!! sorry. you guys can go ahead with any plan. :) also not forgetting the grieving news. it left me wondering about my life for few hours before i sleep.

and sunday was to get gold buttons for my thrifted blazers. met ksh for dim sum breakfast(prawn rice rool love) and went shopping. joyful day out though i got fine $6 for expire parking coupons. went to pass jieying her shirt, get my wallet and some panadol to ease ksh headache from kevin, and back home.

internet connection was down for 2 days. what i did was sorting my com and call 1633. yes i kept calling starhub customer service because they didn't call me back at all when they say they would. very pissed with the way they smoke their way through whatever problems they faced and make up stories hoping i would buy it(come on i am not stupid). the funny thing is, in total, they say they will call me back 3 times, but only call back the last time, cause the problem was solved by then. they should at least give me a call back to explain the problem they facing. anyway, i wrote good and bad feedbacks to them. :)

sim-turday.

a simple saturday ia a great day.

woke up in the morning to fetch my parents to grandparents place. came home, went back to sleep again cause my sleep time the day before was 1.30am-7am, 10.30am-11.30am. and finally woke up at 2.15pm to meet ksh at 3pm. met up, went over to salvation army to get thrifted blazers. then in the evening, tanglin flea market. nothing much, more of a generation older than me kind of clothing, and some nice vintage bags. bought tickets for 12midnight movie before heading to killiney road to have dinner. portion after that was a visit to marina barrrage. our first time there!! its a great place to take pictures. and also to fly kite at night, pinic in the early morning till sunrise. :) head back to the grand cathay 30mins before the show starts, actually to get this pop corn at the basement, but got scammed by the counter lady earlier saying it closes at 12midnight when we reach at 11.30pm, its was already closed. :( watched transformers. starting was good, back scenes were draggy, some weird fighting scenes(idk where some of them come from and some can fight at 2 scenes). average movie but make sure you dont watch it if you are sleepy. cause ksh was so tired after the show as she didnt have proper sleep the day before, i felt so bad for watch a midnight show. so ended up driving a little faster but still within speed limit. and thats my saturday.

when someone come to me saying they hear people criticising me, i would say its normal. we all criticise others too, but we have to bear in mind the context of the statement made. more often then not, the person who made the remarks may not have ill intentions but become misinterpreted because the listeners tend to be too emotional and focus too much on the negative content. i used to be mad in the past, but ever since i started practicing on giving up my ego, i feel ok. i dont want to waste time getting into conflicts. there are too many thing waiting for us to do.

timeline of 28th april 1987 baby.

when i was 0-6, i was being taken care of by my relatives. i heard stories of how mischievous i was, doing things like dismental aircon, hit dogs which i dont like, demand for a bottle of yakult, cry if no one give in to me, break something and keep quiet acting as though nothing has happen. now that i am 22, i changed, for the better.

when i was 9, i got to know chen, my dad and his dad so happen to be friends and i got my freedom of always going to his place to stay over. back then, life was great, nothing to worry about. its just jalan tampang & sembawang shopping centre. now that i am 22, i rarely meet up with him. but i still regard him as my childhood friend, i will meet him after my NS.

when i was 10, i got to know another good friend, denny. my bestest friend of all in primary school. i stay over at his place to the extend that i could bring my uniform to his place and go to school together the next morning. now that i am 22, i need to at least let his mum and him know what i am doing.

when i was 12, i game my life away. from tamiya > counter-strike > darkages. it all ended at sec 3. now that i am 22, i miss those days.

when i was 18, in poly, i got my first ever gf. she was great to me, always happy. till one day, i felt so cheated cause of someone, and there goes my 1 year of relationship. and my second gf in poly year two, i felt so cheated again, this time in term of money. now that i am 22, though i haven got myself a true love, i know what type of person i am looking for.

when i was 18, the prime age, i started clubbing weekly. mos > zouk > phuture > velvet with boo > fong > chen > hao > teng > fongyi > koonie > quanxin > dennis > steph > willis > ray and sometimes janis > denise > nira > melissa. and it all ended at the ago of 20. now that i am 22, i really miss the time we spent together. hope we get to hang out together like before.

when i was 20, i met this group of gamers. they are hell fun people. ryan > guoli > panini > thomas > jeff > raymond and many more. through them, i also meet weird people, more weird than i do. i started trusting people so easily, that i felt so cheated once again. now that i am 22, i learn my lesson.

when i was 21, i entered NS, serving the nation as a policeman. the most relax place ever. so free that everynight i could lie on the bed, and reflect on my life, thats when i tell myself, to be a fully grown up kid. and indeed, i lead a life so much better than before. so much happier.

when it was 7th april 2009, i got my number 1 enemy. though i got it right in my face, i didnt retaliate. i so didnt want this enemy thing to happen but it was too much. grrr.....

its weird how much patience i used to have and now even better over the years, now i dont even talk back to my parents. its weird how i change my lifestyle over the years. it s weird how i started to plan for stuff. its weird how you explore happiness through happiness. its weird all these things happen which i never thought it would. its weird being weird, or is it me.


i am just so happy with myself now. :)

many of my peers fall sick in the past few days, including me. from sore throat -> block nose -> headache -> fever. familiar to you? yes. symptoms of swine flu! so i am going to the doctor now. i know it's a bit too late now, but better than not going. :)

its probably to remind me when was the last time i visit a dentist. hmmm frankly speaking, i dont remember myself going for any dental appointment every since i leave my secondary. :S i know its scary but i do brush my teeth everyday and floss them frequently. :) does excessive chocolate result in this ?

someone attempt to cook my house.

got 1 of my biggest shock when i come home 6am in the morning, seeing 2 fire engine right below my block, my house lights on. i really thought my house was on fire till i get to my block and saw this big crowd with a few policeman. seems that a fire broke out directly below my unit and my brother was the first to notice and called the police. no one knows what happen...

luckily non was hurt.... phew~

and to me, being cheated once in awhile is ok. we need to get use to the fact that there are many people around need to lie to save their lives. so long as our intention of subscribing to their ideas is pure and righteous, we don't need to feel too bad. in fact, we have done that person a good deed in his/her advantage. on our side, as long as we can afford to part with our losses, be it wealth or pride, we have actually bought a lesson. anyway this don't happen everyday. :)

Lucky Draw Scam

a few days back, i receive a call form this unknown number, and the first thing that came to my mind was, "another lucky draw scam?". and the moment i pick up the call, is this china national rapping at 200bpm.

this is how the conversasion go:

caller: hi gentleman, may i know how old are you?

me: 22.

caller: oh congrats! you have just won a lucky draw and you are eligible for it!

me: so lucky? how did your choose the winner ?

caller: by your number!

me: alright then how do i redeem it?

caller: first you got to deposit $500 to our account to claim it.

me: oh ok. but you haven tell me what i won?

caller: sorry. (and she list so many things including a flight to dont know where and 10k cash. i somewhat know is a scam so i dont even bother listening to her.)

me: wah! you speak so fast, i dont even know what i win, but nvm. anyway i dont have $500, so i cant redeem it?

caller: actually you can pay $300 upfront first. then $200 after you receive your lucky draw prize.

me: eh but i dont even have $300. why not like this, you transfer to $250 to my account, so that i would have $300 to transfer to you. for this, i gonna share my prize with you. deal?

caller: ehh... (for about 2-5secs) and she hang up.

Coffee

I am not really a fan of coffee (i just order mocha most of the time) and i dont know whats the difference between mocha;latte;cappuccino, so i went to google it. ha.

Mocha
consists of one third espresso and two thirds steamed milk, but a portion of chocolate is added, typically in the form of sweet cocoa powder, although many varieties use chocolate syrup . Mochas can contain dark or milk chocolate.

Latte
consists of one third espresso and two-thirds steamed milk, with a layer of foamed milk approximately 5 mm (¼ inch) thick on the top.

Cappuccino
consists of one third espresso, one third steamed milk and one third foam.

from a a leaning back relaxing, playing his PSP on the comfortable chair, to a lying on the floor scolding whatever vulgarities he knows made my day in camp. ha. it just happen all of a sudden in split seconds. and the result of the chair is? right below.

yes he's big and tall, and his weight explain the broken leg of the idk how many years chair. his reaction was just funny and i just can't hold my laughter. :S

went to jalan besar and had dinner with jieying at this italian restaurant, meanwhile giving her ideas for her birthday party, but fail to do so as i don't have much idea in mind. and now i got to do homework for that. ha. i recommend anyone with extra $$ to dine there for cheap good pasta.

after that we went to meet troy, chill there while troy settle his stuff at "Going OM".

*and jieying found out that the italian restaurant's chef for the day was troy's man in army. for that we got a free lava cake. :)

4 years laptop

first is the keyboard buttons cant fit back to the original place, after that the driver cant read any disc, and now the system is slow and it takes very long time to load.

is this a sign of getting a new com soon?

i dont mind a desktop now instead as i seldom bring my laptop out, furthermore my bro got an extra laptop, and anytime when i need to use it, borrow from him ! :) but i am an IT-idiot !!! how the hell would i know what to buy for my desktop. someone pls help me....

i have not been careless for the past few years and came to realise that when i lose something , i'm feeling really lost, like alone in the dark and everything stood still. though it isn't something important but still.......

3 basic rules for the decent Singapore man

Fellas, there are three basic rules that you should adhere to when interacting with someone of the opposite sex:

* Listen with interest to what she has to say
* Do not stare at her various body parts, no matter how attractive they are
* Pay for everything if you’re lucky enough to score that first date

I leave the rest to your discretion. It’s fine to mention your former girlfriend, but one should refrain from recounting in minute detail the good times you used to have with her.

All I’m saying is use a little common sense, and your date could turn out to be something more. Otherwise, you may just come across as one big turn-off.

That’s especially so if you’re meeting someone for the first time. First impressions count, and, besides, it’s just etiquette, isn’t it?

To be fair, I know of many Singaporean men who make good, devoted boyfriends/husbands.

My advice to singles – male and female – playing the dating game here in Singapore: Lower your expectations.

Most people – women in particular – have a list of what they want in a date. I say: Go on a date expecting the worst, and you may find yourself enjoying it.
